Hannah Wiley is a politics reporter for the Los Angeles Times’ Sacramento bureau covering the California Capitol and state agencies. Previously, she was a legislative reporter for the Sacramento Bee for three years, where she reported on housing legislation, new vaccine rules, the COVID-19 pandemic, education policy and homelessness. Wiley graduated from St. Louis University and earned a master’s degree in investigative reporting from Northwestern University. She is from Kankakee, Ill.
